Allen E. Paulson College of Science and Technology

The College Post-Tenure Review Committee serves as an advisory body to the Dean. Each Department will elect one representative and each School will elect two representatives to serve a two-year term on the College Post-Tenure Review Committee. In addition to the elected members from each unit, there will be two one-year positions on the committee. The faculty selected to fill the one year positions will be appointed by the Dean. With the exception of Chairs, all tenured faculty are eligible to serve on the committee, provided that they are not undergoing post-tenure review during the period of appointment to the committee. The committee will elect its own chair each year. The chair may serve a maximum of two consecutive terms.

The duties of the College Post-Tenure Review Committee are:

1. to review all post-tenure review appeals from the unit level and make written recommendations with justification to the Dean regarding those appeals, and
2. to review all candidates nominated at the unit level for reward for meritorious post-tenure reviews and to recommend candidates from that pool for "Tenured Faculty Member of the Year."
