Eagle Motorsports
We take pictures everywhere we go, so if you saw at us at an event, check out our Events Section for pics!
We are the Georgia Southern University Formula SAE team. As an
extracurricular club on campus we put to use the skills we have
learned in our classes to design, fabricate and race in two separate
competitions.
The FSAE competition requires the engineering
of a formula style racecar that competes in several static as well as
dynamics events. The 2011 car placed 19th against 123 other schools
from around the world.
The second competition Eagle
Motorsports competes in is the BAJA competition also sponsored by SAE.
The 2011 BAJA vehicle placed 12th out of 58 schools from around the
country.
Eagle Motorsports encompasses all Georgia Southerns
engineering studies and couples them with the real world practice of
implementing complex designs and bringing ideas to market. In FSAE,
not only are we scored based on how well the car is built and
performs, but our marketing capability and the cost vs. performance
aspect.
Our mission is simple. We aim to win by going back
to basics and to learn as much as we can from our hands on efforts.
