The Department of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering offers two undergraduate degree programs of study in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The department also offers the Regents' Engineering Transfer Program, RETP. At the graduate level, the department offers a Master of Science in Applied Engineering with areas of concentration in Mechatronics, Energy Science, Information Technology, and Engineering and Manufacturing Management as well as two graduate Certificate programs in Engineering and Manufacturing Management and Occupational Safety and Environmental Compliance. The department no longer accepts freshman in the current Engineering Technology degree programs and these programs will eventually be phased out. Graduates of our programs are successfully employed in the mainstream industry and broadening high-tech segment locally and nationally.
