Welcome to the Department of Geology and Geography at Georgia Southern University. Our department offers a BA and a BS in Geology, a BA and BS in Geography, a minor in GIS, Geology, and Geography, and emphasizes hands-on, field-based learning. Recent student graduates are working in environmental consulting firms, government agencies, and education among other careers, or pursuing graduate education in some of the nation's top graduate schools.
