Pre-Laboratory Exercises
These exercises are to assist in preparing you before entering the laboratory.
They will highlight details of the experiment and concepts that are to be focused on.

Interactive Guides!
Some of these exercises will first take you through a pictorial guide that will clearly show you the equipment you will be using as well as its proper use/set-up in the experiment you will be doing.

Safety Alerts!

Steps or materials that need special care will be marked with the image above.
TAKE NOTE OF THEM!

Pre-Lab Quizzes!
Whether or not there is an interactive guide, ALL prelabs will contain a PreLab Quiz at the end.
These MUST BE HANDED to your instructor as you ENTER THE LAB.
For each prelab quiz you must choose the correct answers and/or fill in the blanks on your computer.
Then print the page!
(See the Tutorial: Printing Problems on the menu at left if you have problems)

Note: any equipment you see that is not in your drawer will be available at the front of the class.
There will also be prompts along the way that will quiz you (not graded) on particular steps to be sure you are ready for the rest of the experiment.  These will usually point out common mistakes so as to prevent you from having to repeat the experiment .
(so it's in your interest to make note of them)
